General Description: This journal is made from genuine leather. The cover is a beautiful African style tribal pattern full of color. The unprinted inside is super soft, black leather. The journal closes with soft, black genuine Kodiac leather lacing attached to the front flap by two bronze rivets. The pages are bound into the leather spine so the journal lays completely flat when writing or drawing. It comes with TWO bookmarks, each one different patterns found within the cover art. Paper Type: Mohawk Superfine paper with an "eggshell" texture. This paper is high quality paper used primarily for bookbinding and cut with the grain direction running short so that the pages always turn and lay properly. The weight is slightly heavier than standard copy paper with a perfect texture called "eggshell" which feels exactly as the name suggests, like the shell of an egg.  

Lined/Unlined: Teal lines that match the cover

Binding: 7 ply waxed Irish Linen thread in "Turquoise"
