Description: This journal is bound using the Japanese Stab Binding method. While this style of journal doesn't lay completely flat, it is perfect for sketching, a photo album, journaling and may other purposes. It can open both vertically and horizontally. The hard covers are wrapped in a beautiful, colorful fabric with diamond patterns. The spine and hinge is covered in bright orange book cloth to match so it can open and close without worry of tear or cracking. It is bound in a beautiful pattern using blue and yellow cord. It is filled with 1" of plain drawing paper which can be used for writing or drawing. While it closes on it's own, the journal comes with an orange elastic band to keep the journal closed extra tight.
